
Plastiras oil
In a small Greek village called Flamboura, situated between two seas, the Amvrakikos Gulf and the Ionian Sea, are the olive trees that supply the olives for our oil.
The trees are about 90 years old and are located on a hill facing east. The olive harvest takes place from the end of October to December.
This oil is the well-known “Agourelaio” (green olive oil) and the quality of this oil is unique.
The oil is extracted from first pressing, is unfiltered and naturally clear. The olive oil is sublime pure with an acidity between 0.3 and 0.5% The olives for this oil are organically grown and hand-picked and selected.
This oil is suitable for both cold and hot use. When used hot, it has a smoke point of approx. 225 ° C.
